AI project management for software teams
This is AI project management for software work, where every ticket is a code change and every worker is a coding agent. The Agent Office pulls your backlog from Jira, Linear, 8090 and GitHub Issues onto one board, puts an agent on each ticket and moves the ticket along as the work happens. Tickets get done, not just tracked.
If you are looking for Gantt charts or a general to-do app, this is not that. If your backlog is full of software tickets, read on.

one board for the backlog
-
Every tracker, one board
Connect Jira, Linear, 8090 and GitHub Issues. Their tickets land on the same office board, and a filter shows or hides each source.
-
Tickets move when work moves
Start work moves a ticket to In Progress. Mark done posts the PR and a summary on the ticket and moves it to In Review. Nobody has to edit a status in the tracker.
-
Workers raise a hand
When a worker needs a decision, it raises a hand at its desk and the office tells you who is waiting. Answer, and it gets back to work.
-
Nothing ships without approval
Pushes, installs and deletes wait for an OK, and a person reviews and merges every PR. The agents do the queue; people decide.
the status report
The ticket board on the wall counts To do, Doing and Done. Every finished ticket puts a trophy in the cabinet and XP on the bar. It is a bit of a game, and it is also the quickest status report in the building.
what you need
- A Mac with Apple Silicon. The Agent Office is a Mac app. It runs on your machine and keeps everything in ~/.agent-office.
- git and access to the repo. The agent works in a copy of the code on your Mac, so it needs the repo the ticket is about.
- A coding agent you are signed in to. Claude Code, Codex, Copilot or Cursor. Each uses the sign-in it already has, so there is no API key to paste.
- An engineer to review the PR. The agent writes the code and opens the PR. A person who reads code still checks it and merges it.
Whoever runs the office does not need to read code. Someone on the team does, to review the PRs.
